District of Columbia Continuing Education Requirements: 30 hours per 2 year even
District of Columbia Accepts 30 hours of Online Continuing Education Courses

The vast majority of our courses are automatically accepted as they are facilitated by the University of Bridgeport, Health Sciences Postgraduate Education Department which includes the School of Chiropractic, a CCE accredited College.  Scroll down to view Online courses. All posted Teleseminars are accepted unless otherwise noted in the course listing.


When logged in, as long as your licenses are entered on your account, each course is clearly identified as being approved or not approved.


Special Requirements:  Three hours (3) in communicable disease (see our topic:  AIDS and Infectious Disease), Two hours (2) in appropriate clinical treatment specifically for individuals who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, gender nonconforming, or questioning their sexual orientation or gender identify and expression (see our topic LGBTQ- Clinical Considerations), and, Five hours (5) in any combination of ethics, risk management, documentation and record keeping, and cultural competency (See our Topics Ethics for Professionals, Risk Management, Documentation, Documentation-Clinical Justification, Documentation and Coding, Cultural Competency)

New Licensee Information: A licensee who is applying for license renewal for the first time is exempt from the CE requirements until such licensee's next registration period.

 

Reporting Requirements: Licensee submits Certificates of Completion
