Currently, the International Board of Chiropractic Neurology allows up to 288 distance education (online) hours but recommends that 48 hours be obtained via live classroom instruction. Regardless of the format of your hours (online versus live), the total hours accrued must be equal to or greater than 300, and you must pass a written/practical examination in order to be certified.
Your first step may be to complete selected classes leading to the Chiropractic Neurology Certificates. You can work steadily for these certificates and when you earn all of them, you will be well on you way to having accrued the majority of the hours necessary to be eligible to sit for the Diplomate examination through the IBCN. All of our classes are sponsored by the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic, a CCE accredited college. Certificates will be awarded by ChiroCredit.com and sponsored by the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic. All Chiropractic Neurology Certificate hours apply towards the online portion of the Neurology Diplomate.
Joseph Ferezy, DC, FIACN, the lead instructor states "I have been teaching chiropractic neurology programs for over 20 years, for four different chiropractic colleges, and I have never been as excited about a program as I am about this one. I hope you enjoy the unique online chiropractic continuing education video format of the class and elect to take all of the modules."
Whether you are taking a single session, a certificate series, or the whole Diplomate program, these classes will provide sound and rigorous training in chiropractic neurology, and you will further appreciate the crucial role of the chiropractic neurologist every day in your clinical practice.
Online Chiropractic Neurology classes will consist of lecture, video cases, and audio-visual presentations. Complete class notes are provided. For the live, practical class, you are encouraged to attend a live class location, at your convenience, as these classes will focus on a "hands-on" approach to training.
